The inhabitants of Nepal in 2019 is supposedly 29.7 million. There are concerning 101 ethnic groups over 92 languages. The Nepali language was initially called Khaskura (language of Khas-Brahmins,Chhetris), then Parbatiya(language of people in Hills) and later Gorkhali (language of Gorkha). Following Nepali, Maithili is the extensively spoken language in Nepal.
